DTF stands for Direct-to-Film. Your design is printed onto a special PET film using CMYK inks plus a white underbase, then an adhesive powder is applied and cured. The completed transfer is heat-pressed onto the garment at around 325 degrees for 10-15 seconds, bonding the design permanently to the fabric. The result is a full-color, soft, flexible print that works on virtually any material -- cotton, polyester, blends, nylon, and more.

For DTF printing, there is NO minimum order -- you can order a single piece if needed, and the pricing is still fair. UV DTF printing on hard surfaces also has no minimum. For custom embroidery, minimums typically start at 6-12 pieces depending on the garment and stitch count. For company uniform programs, we recommend a minimum of 12-24 pieces per style to make the program cost-effective. Contact us and we will give you exact pricing for your specific quantity.

Our standard production turnaround is 5-7 business days from artwork approval. Rush orders are available in 2-3 business days for an additional rush fee -- ideal for last-minute events, gifts, or uniform needs. Large orders (500+ pieces) or complex projects may require additional time. We will always give you a realistic timeline upfront when you request a quote so you can plan accordingly.

A properly applied DTF print will last 50+ wash cycles without cracking, peeling, or significant fading. To maximize longevity: wash in cold water, turn garments inside out, avoid bleach, and tumble dry on low or hang to dry. DTF prints that peel prematurely are usually the result of incorrect heat press temperature, pressure, or time -- something we control carefully in our production process. We guarantee the quality of every print we produce.

For best results, we prefer vector files: AI (Adobe Illustrator), EPS, or SVG. These scale to any size without losing quality. We also accept high-resolution PNG files (300 DPI or higher at print size) and PDF files. JPG files are acceptable but must be high-resolution. If you only have a low-resolution file or a photo of your logo, contact us -- our design team can often recreate or vectorize your artwork for a small fee. Do not worry if your file is not perfect; just send us what you have and we will let you know.

DTF printing is ideal for full-color designs, photographic images, gradients, and small-quantity orders with no setup fees. Embroidery is ideal for logos on structured garments like polos, dress shirts, caps, and jackets -- it looks more premium and professional, and lasts the lifetime of the garment. A good rule of thumb: use embroidery for your logo on uniforms and caps, and DTF for custom graphics, event shirts, and designs with many colors or fine detail. Many businesses use both methods -- embroidered logo on the chest, DTF graphic on the back.

Yes, absolutely. DTF printing includes a white underbase layer that makes colors pop on black, navy, charcoal, dark green, red, and any dark-colored garment. This is one of DTF's biggest advantages over screen printing on darks -- there are no extra fees or limitations for printing on dark fabrics. Colors appear just as vibrant on black shirts as on white ones.

Yes. We offer local pickup in California and ship orders throughout the United States via UPS and FedEx. Shipping is calculated at checkout based on order weight and destination. Most California orders arrive within 1-2 business days of shipping; other US destinations typically receive orders within 3-5 business days. Expedited shipping options are available. We provide tracking information for every shipment.

We can do both. We stock and source blank garments from top suppliers including Gildan, Bella+Canvas, Next Level, Hanes, Port & Company, Carhartt, Port Authority, and more. We pass on competitive pricing since we buy at wholesale rates. Alternatively, if you have specific garments you want decorated, you are welcome to ship us your own blanks (customer-supplied goods). Just confirm compatibility before sending -- some garment types are not ideal for certain decoration methods.

The best way to get an accurate price is to use our free quote request form. Pricing depends on the service (DTF, embroidery, UV DTF, etc.), the quantity, garment type, design size, and number of print locations. As a general guide: DTF prints on t-shirts start around $5-15 per shirt for small quantities (1-11 pieces) and decrease significantly with volume. Embroidery pricing depends on stitch count and typically ranges from $4-12 per location. Request a quote and we will respond within 24 hours with detailed pricing.

Yes. Our team can help with basic artwork preparation, logo vectorization (converting a raster image to a clean vector file), and digitizing logos for embroidery (included free with qualifying orders). For full logo design from scratch, we can refer you to trusted graphic designers or handle simple designs in-house for a design fee. If you have an existing logo that is not print-ready, just send it to us and we will tell you what adjustments are needed.

Yes. UV DTF prints are waterproof and dishwasher-safe under normal use conditions. The UV-cured ink bonds strongly to the surface and resists moisture, light scratching, and moderate abrasion. We recommend placing items on the top rack of the dishwasher and avoiding harsh scrubbing. Hand washing with mild soap and water will further extend the life of the print. UV DTF prints are also resistant to UV light and will not fade quickly when used outdoors.

Yes, embroidery on caps and hats is one of our most popular services. We embroider on structured baseball caps, unstructured dad hats, trucker hats, snapbacks, beanies, and visors. For caps, we recommend a maximum of 10,000-15,000 stitches per location to avoid puckering on the front panel. Designs with very fine lines or small text may need to be simplified for cap embroidery. We also offer leather patch hats -- your logo is laser-engraved onto a genuine or faux leather patch and sewn onto the cap front.

UV DTF printing is the best method for full-color designs on tumblers, Stanley cups, YETI bottles, Hydro Flask, and other hard-surface drinkware. UV DTF creates a waterproof, dishwasher-safe, scratch-resistant print with a slightly raised texture. For monochrome logos with an elegant engraved look, laser engraving is an excellent alternative -- especially on stainless steel and anodized aluminum. We also offer both methods combined for high-end custom drinkware programs.

Absolutely -- small businesses are at the heart of what we do. We understand that a startup or small business in California has different needs and budgets than a Fortune 500 company. We offer no-minimum DTF printing so you can test designs before committing to large quantities, competitive pricing on small runs, and personal service that big online printers cannot match. Whether you need 5 shirts for a pop-up event or 500 uniforms for your growing team, we treat every order with the same care and attention.
